I no longer have pain when walking or runningI injured my medial hamstring/adductor tendons towards the insertion of the knee a while back, and it nagged me during all exercise to the point that I had to rest it for months! The blitz sleeve has been instrumental in my returning to running, cycling, and lifting. I no longer have pain when walking or running, and it makes icing the knee incredibly simple (I even wear it at work with ice in it a few times a day). My one recommendation is to measure around the front of your quads/hamstrings where the top band will sit, not the actual joint of the knee - if you do, and size too small like I did, the top band slides towards the narrow of your knee because of how tight it is.
I love it!I just got my knee sleeve and I love it! I started having IT issues during a half marathon and since that race my knee starts to hurt after just a couple miles. I slipped on the knee sleeve yesterday, went for a longer run, and had no pain whatsoever. I also had no soreness or residual pain after taking the sleeve off. I froze my ice packs ahead of time, placed them in the insulated package, ran and did cross training for nearly 2 hours. Afterwards, I pulled the ice packs out and they were still frozen, cold and I was able to ice for a full 30 minutes. This is a great system. It's simple and effective.
The thing works wonders!I don't always have knee pain, but when I do I reach for my 110% Play Harder Blitz Knee Sleeve! Occasionally on high mileage weeks or if the IT Band is getting tight my knee starts to bother me'I immediately grab my Blitz Sleeve and start compression! The thing works wonders! Earlier in the year I was doing a 200 mile team relay which involved a lot of time smashed in a van with 5 other people plus gear, in the process I developed some significant knee pain and didn't think I would be able to run my final leg, however after sliding on the Blitz I was able to ice it up and get it under control for my last leg and finished in fashion! Actually bought one for my little sister who is a gymnast with a history of knee pain and she has benefited greatly! I would highly recommended the Blitz for anyone with any knee pain ever!
I am now a believer on compression + ice and on 110 products.I used to be able run without problems but then I got into cycling and, after many years of not running, trying to run anything over a mile started to hurt in the knees to the point that I had to walk back. I tried every knee brace or sleeve I could find and they would only make the problem worse. My hopes of doing a Triathlon or a marathon were gone. The last knee brace I tried was actually the 110 Blitz Knee sleeve back in Dec 2010. Just out of the gate I was able to do 3 miles without pain but after icing it, I was able to get rid of the pain by the next day and I was able to start running consistently. Long story short, I have done half-marathon, several 10k races, trail running and I just did my first triathlon. I did have a quality problem with one of the sleeves but 110 has an excellent customer service and they replaced it right away. I am now a believer on compression + ice and on 110 products.
